FELLOWSHIP

Proceeding from the point of recognition, the greatest union with God is personal spiritual experience. Granted man and woman, no matter how enlightened are "social beings," fellowship in the Ministry of Spirituology seeks to create an environment where "awakened" individuals "may gather to encourage study together with open minds to appreciate the vastness of thought that existence offers and practice in a non-sectarian manner, methods of addressing and expressing the spiritual nature of the Cosmic Reality manifest through humanity."

What constitutes the Ministry of Spirituology functions on the basis of a cell system which utilizes the homes of adherents of the path as primary meeting places for discussions and attunements. It will suffice to say anywhere at least 3-5 persons gather recognizing the emphasis of their discussions will center on religious, spiritual, philosophical, scientific or subject matter deemed to flow from the natural sciences, a gathering of "spirituology" is taking place. The emblem of the ministry with the right eye of Horus surrounded by the symbols of the 12 spiritual traditions of divinity should be conspicuously displayed if possible.

Venues for larger gatherings are arranged for as needed and permanent structures may be procured for assembly purposes, but such physical congregation should never form the main emphasis of the ministry's activities which flow intertwined with each individuals natural lifestyle.

Awakened individuals are encouraged to meet as often as they are free to discuss their weekly spiritual experiences, hold lectures and conduct group prayers, meditations, healing ceremonies, séances, purifications, invocations or convocations, etc. No one is obligated to participate as presence is purely of free will and time availability.

Laying out a defined method of gathering activities is the priority of the individuals who will be meeting, but for the sake of order, an individual, man or woman who is recognized by all as competent in the general subject matter of Spirituology should lead the gathering as Minister and designate others who may also volunteer to lead particular aspects of the gathering. A candle is always lit to commence every gathering where practical by the youngest female person of age present. Where no female is present, the youngest male may perform this duty. We encourage the minister to wear a right "eye of Horus" OR "ankh" pendant necklace when presiding over gatherings, in representation of the earliest globally systematic spiritual tradition founded on the earth at the ancient mystery schools of Khemet (Egypt), all other persons may wear "ankh" pendant necklaces; this is purely optional however. This person selected should generally be accepted as the 'initiator' of the ministry gathering in the particular area. As a basic rule, democratic vote by majority shall be the method by which decisions are made in the gathering circle or "cipher."

A. Lecture (Research Discussions): A key aspect of "gathering" should be the preparation by each person interested who will be present a discussion topic of intrigue. Topics should be submitted to the individual designated to be Minister prior to the gathering, who will logically arrange the topics to allow a smooth progression from one discourse to the next allowing ample time for both the presentation and group discussion. Recommended discussions may flow from any book on spirituality, science or text, occurrence or topic that evoked reflection in the participant. Testimonies of genuine spiritual experiences and reflections should also be shared during this period.

B. Spiritual Attunement: The main aspect of "gathering" is attunement of each individual consciousness present into one "collective consciousness." Participants in the gathering again are freely permitted to select which form of attunement they will observe to attain experience of the spiritual state sought, whether prayer, group meditation, or visualization, chanting etc. or aspects of each. The use of any additional esoteric elements including but not limited to incense, candles, various imageries, etc. and the order of the attunement session shall be at the liberal decision of those participating.

We prescribe a candle lighting ceremony or "Illumination" in which a prime candle is lit by the minister with the recitation, "A single candle causes the darkness to merge in its rays of light allowing that which was clothed in dark matter to be revealed. Yet, many candles cause the darkness to flee faster, illuminate space brighter, permanently even, as the Light spawns in it's intensity in the eternal balance. As we evolve in the never ending process of attaining Universal Consciousness, may we fear not the darkness and find eternity passing through it to greater Illumination."

The minister then proceeds to light a candle of which they have brought from the prime candle lit at the opening of the gathering by the youngest female person present (or male if a female is unavailable). Each member in order of age, from the youngest to the oldest in turn lights his or her candle from the original candle and places them together. As the last person lights their candle, a brief moment of silence should be observed with reflection on the recitation. The candles should be allowed to burn at interval proceeding to the banquet, before which the youngest person present who lit the prime candle, should extinguish all of the candles, leaving only the prime candle to continue burning. At the close of the gathering the minister should extinguish the prime candle.

C. Banquet: Be comprised at least in part of a good portion of fruits and vegetables, salads and bread with fish and wine, in its simplest observance but no limitation is placed on the participants who may decide to have a light refreshment or hold a feast of abundance with roasted meats, main course dishes and exotic drinks.

GATHERING GUIDELINES

Saturday may be prescribed as a definite day for gatherings granted it is the weekend and will allow the possibility of all to make themselves available from work and other obligations that would arise if a date during the business week was set. Saturday also does not clash with Sunday which is already used by the majority of the orthodox Christian churches for services. Mondays after work in the evening may provide for a brief gathering to refresh from the first day of the business week and Wednesday at the middle of the week is good for conducting an elocution session. The mid-week gatherings are shorter but carry the same prescription for their segmentation as with the Saturday gathering. As a rule, at least one regular gathering should be held every monthMajor gatherings should definitely be observed in sequence with the equinoxes, solstices and other solar and lunar processions of the celestial bodies.

Gatherings may be freely held whenever and wherever they will not be deemed disruptive to others who may not be participating in the meeting. Natural places are highly recommended, not limited to but including open fields, forests or by natural water bodies but the most pragmatic place for a gathering is the home of one who holds spirituology in esteem.

Observing Saturday, to Synchronize with the sun, participants should begin arrival at 10am so that the gathering should begin at exactly 10:30am with Research Discussions which should run in discourse until 11:30am allowing for time for preparation for Spiritual Attunement which should begin at exactly 12NOON. Note: An allotted time for attunement can hardly be set to a particular nomenclature granted the aim of the period should be to genuinely bring participants to a state of harmony with the specific experience to be attained. Attunement may freely take two hours finishing at 2pm allowing for an hour to be used for Banquet which should always allow the gathering to finish at 3pm.

Establishing a "collective consciousness" is the ultimate goal of any "gathering" of individuals who meet to evolve their experience of spirituology. The collective consciousness is a unified psychic atmosphere shared by those who commonly fellowship together and is characterized by mystic experiences of synchronicity in peculiar incidents coupled by a deep sense of fraternity and sorority. Generally as a rule this sense would exist where, in a group of 100, though it isn't an obligation, each regular attendee of a gathering would know every other regular attendee by name and face. Regular visualization should be done of each and every member enveloped in a white light of peace, health and prosperity during the Spiritual Attunement. It is recommended a group photograph of all in the gathering circle is kept by each individual and updated and intervals for the purpose of private visualizations. This will ultimately evolve a "collective consciousness" in which prayers and request channeled into the Universal Consciousness will increase in their potency to manifest in the favor of attendees of the gathering.

Participants are free to develop initiatives to increase the number of individuals in their gathering circle, which will eventually entail the keeping of a registry and raising, usage and management of funds which should be conducted in the most transparent manner possible with records kept and a Treasurer designated from amongst those in the circle. A record of the regular participants should be maintained and gradually regular monthly dues should be collected to maintain the basic costs of purchasing esoteric books and texts, other elements ie candles and incense, etc., covering stationary/documentation expenses, transportation costs and sustaining the Banquet, etc.

However, participants as members duly "registered" with a local gathering and "official" members are NOT obligated to solicit for other "members." In fact we DO NOT solicit members with the fanaticism and "fisherman" style employed by the Christian churches and other religious traditions. We prefer those who approach spirituology to do so out of an already established predisposition towards the path in all personal willingness.

Those with genuine interest are welcome as well; everyone has consciousness and there is nothing more beautiful than when an individual becomes awakened. However, not everyone may find themselves ready when and "if" approached in the style of some other "religious" or "spiritual" organizations. Such persons at last at times are incapable of fully pursuing their Cosmic Initiation consistently resulting perhaps in more harm to themselves and possibly others than good. For this reason, admission to a gathering is the "selfish" privilege of those who are already participants, who have all discretion to know whom they can invite to partake of our circle based on interaction with the individual and conclusion they would genuinely cherish such an invitation.

As a gathering circle grows, its participants should be aware of the relevant state protocol in their jurisdiction for legalization or "incorporation" as a Minstry of Spirituology. Of course the objective of conducting goodwill activities like book drives for youths to encourage reading, clothing donation drives to local orphanages and homeless persons, to outreaches to prisons, community and civil rights activism and other forms of public service is not for recognition. To conduct such activities successfully and without raising suspicion in the community of the motives of the gathering, it is mandatory all necessary state protocols be respected. Though it should be repeated the ministry seeks to avoid becoming a type of institution, for the sake of avoiding legal friction with local authorities and to gain the respect and direct benefits available to such organizations provided for by the state of which the gathering may find itself which may aid in its growth, this is a requirement of all chartered Ministries of Spirituology.

Though as preliminary guidelines for how the gathering should form the base of the ministry, these points are merely suggestive. As an idea to guide the ministry in its gatherings we should think of what we have always wanted our orthodox churches, mosques, temples, etc. to have been, of which they are not and kept us from being regular attendees of their services and then build your gathering on the basis of attaining as close to possible the perfection of this image. In doing this you cannot fail, as the Ministry of Spirituology gives you the freedom to address God to attain experience of its nature as the circle of awakened consciousnesses who participate in its gatherings direct.
