Note: the inclusion of the "eye of Heru (Horus)" represents the clarity in vision of the "ministry" with the enlarging of its disposition from the connotation of a "church". The "All-Seeing-Eye" set as a symbol of the ancient Khemeti in the center of the other 12 icons symbolizes the evolution of culture and spirituality from what is now known as the African continent across the planet.

With a view to guarantee the objective of the Association of Cultural Awareness (ACA) as defined by the organization's constitution clause Section I: General Provisions, Article II: Objectives and Area of Jurisdiction 1) g) to ... :

" a)            Promote religious cultural understanding/tolerance and awareness of human spirituality with the aim of contributing to the advancement of the evolution of the collective human consciousness towards understanding of the Universal Cosmic Mind or "God.""

...be effectively implemented through the expounding of the subject matter of "spirituology", the ideological mechanism of the association formally known as the "Church of Spirituology" has been changed to the "MINISTRY OF SPIRITUOLOGY".

This decision has been taken to avoid  any mixed association with the usage of the appellation of "Church" being assumed to be strictly a group of people who meet to worship or perform other religious activities.

The difference between a "church" and "ministry" is relatively obscure to those who do not make issues pertaining to the organization of spiritual gatherings their priority.

As explained under the "Membership" section of this blog:

"Contrary to popular assumption, the word "church" does not refer to any physical building, but as used in  early pre-Roman Catholic Christianity was used to represent the word "ecclesia" translated from the Greek,  which means "called out" depicting a coming together, "assembly" or "congregation" of people.

The word “church” comes from the name of the Greek goddess “Circe” who was a “patroness of magic, sorcerers, medicine and herbs” said to live on the island of “Aeaea.” In the Greek archetypes or "gods and goddesses" she was the daughter of Apollo (Khemet-Ra, Roman-Helios), the “god of the sun” and Perse an oceanid. The term “church” as used in the New Testament is synonymous with the Greek “Circe,” Scottish “Kirk” and German “Kirche” with other variant forms of usage as “Kerk and Sirse.” From her rituals we have the notion of today’s “witchcraft circles” or “witchcraft covens.” The meaning of the word "witch" is misunderstood being etymologically derived from the Anglo-Saxon "wicche" or "wicce" meaning simply "intelligence" or “understanding," used as a noun for someone who is "wise." As a compound word, "witchcraft" is the strength, power, force or skill (craft) of using intelligence, understanding or "awareness" which itself is consciousness. A “witchcraft circle" then is a "congregation" for the manifestation of the power of consciousness. This definition can be applied to any spiritual tradition including the formula for prayer applied in "orthodox" Christian churches.

William Tyndale (AD 1494 – 1536) one of the earliest translators of the bible when referring to the “temples” of Artemis in the Book of Acts 19:37 used the term “circe” and employed “ecclesia,” when referring to the gatherings of the 12 disciples, implying literally to be “called out.” William Whittingham who followed him in translating the bible in 1557 consistently used the term "church" to represent "ecclesia" when referring to the gatherings of the followers of Jesus, insinuating a “state  of consciousness” or “state of being” and not a physical structure but a meeting of individuals for the  attunement of consciousness, coinciding with the Greek usage of the term "circe."

Admittingly the definition of church as prescribed by ACA is extremely precise to describe the movement to expound on spirituology as a gathering of like-minded spiritual and culturally aware people, but NOT as a religion NOR for the purpose of worship. The ambiguity of the local Cameroon legal system will not recognize beyond the value of the word "church" used by the orthodoxy which enforces the entity be deemed "Christian" and force all of the regulations enforced on groups organized with the intention of "worship" to adhere to this standard. However, the "church" of spirituology in its formation has never had the intention of organizing members for any worship practices but to promote inter-faith dialogue. Not at all seeking to be an organization for "worship" the "Church of Spirituology" holds the intent of being humanitarian and indulging in philanthropic activity for the welfare of humanity. This intention would better be executed as a "ministry".

To compliment the purpose of a church, the late Dr. Martin Luther King expounded on what ministry is in the Christian context. However his elaboration does not limit itself to the aims of only religion...

"The idea that service to God should have only to do with a church altar, singing, reading, sacrifice, and the like is without doubt but the worst trick of the devil. How could the devil have led us more effectively astray than by the narrow conception that the service of God takes place only in the church and by works done therein.  …  The whole world could abound with services to the Lord  …  not only in churches but also in the home, kitchen, workshop, and field."

Differentiating between a church and a ministry in a message board discussion on the Universal Life Church/ULC Seminary Forum on the question topic "Ministry Vs Church: What are the differences between a "ministry" and a "church"?, a commentator, Scott Luxon offered this explanation:


"A ministry is the efforts of one or more people to share their faith with and/or help others with a specific method in mind.

A church is a body of believers of the same faith who wish to come together in congregation for purposes generally including worship, usual at a meeting place.

The gray areas are there, and it is a very good question.

In general the main difference between most churches and most ministries is this; churches usually have multiple leaders and are usually granted tax exceptions with the understanding that as a body of believers donating money to the church they want to be able to use that money towards charitable ends, while ministries have one or a few leaders, generally aren't granted tax exemptions (unless registered as a charity or a NPO) and rely on donations from the general public which may or not receive a tax credit and don't necessarily congregate but instead travel around or do outreach from mobile stations and don't necessarily have a base of operations i.e. a building but sometimes do.

A ministry may or may not be religious while a church almost always is." 

Enlarging its appellation from church to "ministry", the Ministry of Spirituology is guaranteed promotion comfortably as the "central ideological mechanism" of the Association for Cultural Awareness (ACA), without falling into questions concerning its legal personality. 

The Ministry of Spirituology automatically derives the non-profit status of the Association for Cultural Awareness which functions strictly on the basis of member contributions and goodwill donations with support offered by philanthrophic persons and bodies. ACA as a subsidiary of AFRICA ADVANCING  also derives 501-C-3 non-profit status.

Church Planter, Speaker, Author and CEO, Raul Rivera in an article on his website "www.startchurch.com" entitled , "Do You Know How to Classify Your Ministry?" explains Under the U.S. tax code of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), ministries are classified as "Religious Non-profit" organizations and qualify for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt recognition. "Additionally, according to section 170(b)(1)(a) of the Code, donors can receive a tax deduction for donations to these organizations. This means that churches and all other religious ministries are given the same tax benefits as nonprofit corporations." 

The legal pertinence in the grey areas between a church and ministry are minor. The priority of this name change is structural with the intent of harmonizing the Ministry of Spirituology in its objective with the legal personality of the non-profit Association for Cultural Awareness. Operating as a "church" this legal personality can immediately be questioned in betrayal of the organization's aims to represent and promote education of all spiritual paths in a context of cultural unity. 

As well, the correct appellation "ministry" will allow the mechanism to appeal and represent other spiritual paths clearly whereas a church would generally cause members of other traditions to assume spirituology has Christian conversion aims. This too has never been our objective, but the former. It should be clear this name change has been taken purely in the interest of this organization with no ulterior motive.

All members of the ministry and affiliates are hereby humbly called upon to take note of this evolution.

Marcus Garvey's Birthday 

Sunday August 16th, 2015, the eve of international commemorations to mark the birth of Marcus Garvey on the 17th of August, saw members of the Douala Branch of the CAMEROON ASSOCIATION OF ENGLISH SPEAKING JOURNALISTS (CAMASEJ-D) meet to also recognize the value of excellence exhibited in the legacy of the late Pan-African and Publisher. With the Red, Black and Green,"Universal African Flag" hung, the meetings discourse went forward with every mind present committed to ‪#‎Raising‬ Standards and offering suggestion to ensure the branch maintain the inspiration it had gathered in setting out with a new mentality of demonstrating excellence in Cameroon. The meeting commenced with prayer and reflections on the state of Africans in relation to an understanding of their past legacy. The informal gathering ended with an appraisal of the life of Marcus Garvey given by Minister Nkanwi Fokwa Ambe, who also explained significance of the RBG flag before closing. Members took the opportunity to grab photos in front of the emblem of African unity in demonstration of their accepted path on to greater awakening in service to humanity.

Our testament as spirits in a material world that must ascend back into a state of transition from this earth between dimensions must rise above the divisions of the subject matter of religion and science and become one.

Religion and science are attempts to culturally and systematically define the reality and subject matter of human spiritual existence as expressed by the various groups on the planet living in specific geographic regions of the earth using varied terms, all having the same fundamental meanings to express collective universal realities. 

As one meditates on the “Theory of Spirituology” and researches to deduce its reality as holistic knowledge defined, the following “Tri-Unions” will reveal their relationships and expression in reality and philosophical approximations of nature definitely from one stage of manifestation to the next revealing all subject matter is related and not isolated as the current educational structure and categorization of knowledge advances. The equation “exp.=ca” expresses with relation to human consciousness on the level of metaphysics the application of “e=mc2“ in its manifestation as part of the Universal laws of the Cosmic that permeates physical existence or m, matter that is, c, accelerated, from e, energy, merges both spiritual and scientific subject matter by equating the value of the terms. With “energy” what the mystics will refer to as “spirit” being the primordial basis of “reality,” Einsten’s equation mirrored in the equation “exp.=ca” (experience = condition X awareness) explains the process by which conscious energy as spirit, Pure Consciousness, aggregates itself into experience of which reality is constantly becoming.

Over ten years ago the September 11th, 2001 World Trade Center Attack sparked global confusion leading to the magnification of a word that had been used to describe the Israeli PLO and other Middle Eastern militant groups but not rhetorized to the level humanity has been gripped with today; “TERRORISM!” 

An un-sanctioned war against United Nations protocol was led by George W. Bush then president of the United States, claiming Saddam Hussein, leader of Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and was funding terrorists. With a slip of the tongue Bush categorized the “War on Terror” as a “Crusade” behind the false theatric propaganda some Muslim rulers were on a rampage to take over the world with the replay in the news of the word “JIHAD”. Strikes on Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria have ensued increasing rage amongst many Muslims all over the globe including opportunists in Sub-Saharan Africa.

What “jihad” means has been entirely taken out of context as people have been led to assume it is a teaching that solely advocates for war to forcefully convert non-Muslims to Islam. In Arabic the word “jihad” means simply “struggle” or literally "striving in the way of God,” “al-jihad fi sabil Allah." In the Quran, footnotes concerning “jihad” and index references to the action are widely classified under “striving” and “fighting.” Based on this broad terminology the 11th-century Islamic scholar, Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi in "The History of Baghdad" cited Jabir ibn Abd-Allah, the companion of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as inferring there are two forms of “jihad” being a greater and lesser struggle.  

The greater struggle for which the term may be applied refers to spiritual challenges a Muslim faces in practicing Islam. This could range from temptations during fasting to the pursuit of increased women’s rights. The 2011 uprisings or “Arab Spring” in North Africa that lead to the toppling of governments was sparked by Mouhamed Bouazizi who lit himself on fire on December 17th, 2010 in protest of the seizure of the fruits he was vending  by a municipal officer. This raised public sentiment against all the already corrupt Islamic governments in the region. In the interest of liberty this was an example of “greater jihad.”The American Revolution taken in this context was a “Jihad”.

The concept of the lesser struggle is the type of “Jihad” generally understood by fighting in the “War on Terror.” Granted the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reformed Islam against vicious persecution by the Arabian priesthood in the 8th century A.D. some Islamic scholars as explained by John Esposito in “Islam: The Straight Path” (2005) consider JIHAD to be a sixth pillar of Islam though this is not officially recognized. Islamic scholars argue the passages referring to jihad in the Quran have historical implications which if not understood cause their meaning to be taken out of context. For this reason groups in Islam like the Ahmadi Muslims reject entirely any form of fighting which is not defensive. It is at this juncture where the definition of Jihad is debated amongst Muslim scholars. Surah Al-Baqarah 2:190-193 of the Holy Quran reads as such:

“190. Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. 191. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for persecution is worse than slaughter;… 192. But if they cease, Allah is of Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 193. And fight them on until there is no more persecution and the religion becomes Allah’s but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression.”

Footnotes in the Holy Quran English translation “Revised and Edited by the Presidency of Islamic Researches, IFTA, Call and Guidance” in footnote 204 states precisely:

“War is permissible in self-defense, and under well-defined limits. When undertaken, it must be pushed with vigour, but not relentlessly, but only to restore peace and freedom for the worship of Allah. In any case strict limits must not be transgressed: women, children, old and infirm men should not be molested, nor trees and crops cut down, nor peace withheld when the enemy comes to terms.” 

It must be admitted then, the Quran explicitly calls for fighting in the interest of defending Islamic communities. This is a requirement placed on every Muslim, with priority given to men. In its full interpretation any Islamic community in the world that is attacked must receive the support of Muslims anywhere on the planet for defense. Muslims are to fight and remove the aggressors from their lands, BUT if the aggressors cease their attack, they are supposed to stop. 

The continued wars in the Middle East are being seen as provocation against Islam, especially after no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq. Splinter cells of jihadists with weapons and massive funding have been spreading around the world. An inverted global “offensive jihad” is being fought in the interest of hegemony boosting militant groups like the Islamic sect “BOKO HARAM” in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Rising behind political vexation in Northern Nigeria following President Goodluck Jonathan's ascension to completion of the tenure of Umaru Yar'Adua who died on May 5th, 2010, the sect made their first act of public aggression with the Bauchi prison break on September 7th , 2010 which was later followed by the first December 31st, 2010 attack in Abuja. The recent kidnapping of over 276 young girls from a dormitory secondary school on April 14th in Chibok has gained the group international infamy after being officially categorized as a “terrorist organization” on May 22nd by the UN Security Council and USA.

Senior Islamic Clerics including the Sunni Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdullah Al ash-Sheikh, Iranian Shia jurisprudent Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, the Nigerian Sultan of Sokoto Sa'adu Abubakar, and others have stated the sect is exaggerating the tenets of the Quran. 

The current leader of “Boko Haram” (figuratively "Western education is a sin."), Sheikh Abubakar Shekau, justifies the sect’s jihad on the basis of opposition to western culture and a desire to establish a separate Islamic state in Nigeria under Sharia Law; what actually appear to be political motives. Boko Haram also began its jihad without being attacked and kills women and children, against Quran-ic precepts. However, the mere fact verses abound in the holy book that can be interpreted to justify the use of force for religious purposes is still something viewed as strange by anyone who understands the nature of the commission to advance the knowledge of the Light.  

The definition of "jihad" is obscure even amongst Islamic scholars, making it more necessary to organize seminars to define the concept within a more humane context. Unfortunately the camps at war prefer to mobilize young men against one another along lines of religious distinction. Until elucidation on the word “jihad” is satisfied millions of deaths in the name of “The War on Terror” will only continue to mis-portray the beauty of Islam as a disciplined spiritual path with a rich mysticism and heritage.

1. One who says 'my God' is greater than yours is a fool!

2. No religion or spiritual tradition is higher than another, yet some may be lesser as they oppose universal law. To be in harmony with all, NEUTRAL GOOD or LOVE, is the fair path of Cosmic Initiation.

3. To die is realization of the recycling of eternal life; the path spirals downward and ends where it began upward.

4. The goal in life is preparation for death.

5. No book has ever been written that embodies the complete revelation of the divine, but allows one to only glance at its possibilities.

6. One who says to another 'Do not know this or that" is suspect for having acquired knowledge of that which he commands another to shun and should be treated with all suspicion.

7. To quest to know and learn is the way of the one guided by Masters and Mistresses sent by God, the Universal Consciousness.

8. Study of knowledge of self and research of the science of the universe to attain harmony with all in it and fairly understand Pure Consciousness is the most valuable thing in all existence; this is Spirituology.

9. Men and women are equal and must engage in their relationships whether erotic, for procreation or platonic on the basis of mutual agreement without deceit.

10. Children are young adults. They are the embodiment of the next stage of evolution of human consciousness and are as precious as the guarantee of our eternity.

11. One who does not revere life and the earth, but looks upon the harm of others and pollution of nature with intent or acquiescence is not fit to be called awakened or enlightened.

12. Deal in equality and if not, neutrality, and if not tolerance of all one does not understand or confuses oneself to not accept. One who is unattached to the polarity of thought and desire may call themselves god.

13. Ignorance is the root of all evil and its spirit in formless form. It leads the rebellion of inter-dimensional beings with fear and deceit as the archangels of the fallen.

Consciousness and The Aspects of Mind That Enable and Allow Consciousness to Transmute Into Tangible and Measurable Life Experiences

Should you mention consciousness and ask the average person what it means, most will reply that it refers to an "awake state."

That's actually far more "true" than most understand. But at the same time it's quite a limited perspective based on how most view being conscious and awake. The reason that's "true" is simply because being "awake" and being conscious go beyond walking around with our eyes open as we engage in the many physical activities that we perform each and every day.

In fact most engage in their day to day activities quite "unconsciously" and as a result "perceive" that life just delivers what it will. In the vast majority of cases, due to this "asleep with eyes wide open state", what life delivers is in more cases than not far less than desired and precisely why so many believe that getting what they want is hopeful or wishful thinking at best.

But it's not. Many are just "unknowingly and unconsciously" choosing that for themselves.

That's why it's so vital to become conscious of how you utilize your consciousness which clearly reveals how and why you experience whatever it is that you DO experience in your life.

Once you understand that consciousness...more specifically the quality of your consciousness is what determines every aspect of your life and you choose to direct and harmonize yours with what you "truly desire"...you'll get it.

And it NEVER fails. In fact it CAN'T fail. Never has and never will.

So let's explore consciousness and how you can become "awake" to the power that you, I and everyone already has to begin creating and experiencing a kind and quality of life that you may have previously "perceived" as being unattainable for you.

The consciousness we'll be exploring in the upcoming paragraphs has much more to do with the creation of life...more specifically your life and the events, conditions and circumstances experienced in your life than being "awake" in the physical sense of the word.

It's literally the seed level from where life flows from.

It's my hope that the following will assist you in "truly awakening" to a much "Higher Truth" than most choose and through that understanding that you might begin experiencing the transformation in your own life that's made available and possible through "consciously choosing" to do so.

Let's begin by exploring "consciousness" at a deeper level...

Consciousness is the seed of all of creation. According to modern day scientists as well as the mystics, sages and masters since antiquity, consciousness is the omniscient, omnipresent, all pervasive substance...the essence if you will behind ALL existence both the seen and the unseen...The Source of EVERY event, condition and circumstance experienced in your life individually as well as on a global scale.

To discover how to begin to ingeniously create your reality consciously, intentionally and purposefully is as simple and complex as choosing to awaken, enhance your awareness, and begin consciously utilizing your inalienable right...your power to choose in such a way that that harmonizes with what you "truly desire" rather than what you don't want.

It's through awakening and becoming "conscious" in a larger than life kind of way that you'll reclaim your power to do so.

The awakening I'm referring to is achieved through choosing to enhance and expand your awareness regarding life and the unfailing, never wavering process...what I often refer to as The Perfect Plan that determines HOW each and every aspect of life unfolds as well as WHY it unfolds as it does.

Depending on how you arrived at this page, and your current depth of understanding regarding your individual creative ability to be, do and have whatever you choose for yourself, it may prove beneficial to explore and develop an understanding of Universal Laws, also referred to as Laws of Nature or Spiritual Laws as well as Quantum Physics to provide you with a solid foundational understanding as to how and why consciousness plays such a major role in creating each and every event, condition and circumstance in both your individual life as well as the ever unfolding process of creation determining how ALL things in the world around you come to be.

All of creation, those things which can be seen and experienced in the physical world as well as the unseen or meta-physical aspects of creation, when traced to their origin exist as the result of and can always be traced back to Consciousness.

In order to grasp and fully comprehend the crucial nature of consciousness as it relates to the physical, financial, relational, emotional and spiritual aspects of your life and to establish the level of self awareness necessary to become a purposeful, intentional and conscious creator of the events, conditions and circumstances which make up the moment by moment experiences in your life, an understanding of this All Pervasive Creative Force...this essence that we all engage in every second of every minute of every day, is absolutely essential for those who choose to master their game.

In fact it's the seed that will both enable and empower you to begin consciously creating your reality in a far more desirable and predictable manner than the vast majority "perceive" as being rational, logical, practical, feasible or even possible for that matter.

The articles and sub-sections contained within this Consciousness section will explain in detail, yet provide a simple to grasp concept regarding the importance of becoming and remaining consciously aware of your individual consciousness (your thoughts) which serves as the often times overlooked and misunderstood source or cause of the events, conditions, and circumstances which make up EVERY area of your life as well as the little understood aspects of consciousness which serve as the driving force behind all of creation.

Through discovering these "seemingly" individual and separate aspects of consciousness, it will become quite evident that all that exists, from the macroscopic to the microscopic and beyond all inevitably lead to and are the result of "One True Source" referred to as the Super-Conscious Mind.

This Super Conscious Mind has been provided many labels. God, Source Energy, Higher Power, Brahman, etc. etc. etc.

It's my hope that you won't allow man made labels and self limiting indoctrination to limit what Source has made available to you, me and everyone else who consciously chooses it for themselves.

It's also my hope and wish for you that you'll choose to explore, discover and become consciously aware of the "true power" you hold to be, do and have anything that you choose to experience.

The first and most vital part of becoming conscious and utilizing the quality of your consciousness intentionally, purposefully and consistently begins by making the choice to keep an open mind and become aware that what you may "perceive" as being "true" may be the very "truth" that is keeping you from creating and experiencing the kind and quality of life that you so desire for yourself.

The Conscious Mind

The conscious or objective aspect of mind which is finite in nature is the aspect of mind connected to the physical or finite world. The conscious aspect of mind is what determines your normal or day to day level of awareness.

The conscious is limited to the physical and finite although plays a vital and necessary role in every aspect of your life. In addition to planning, reason and logical thinking processes etc. it's the conscious aspect of mind that enables us to be conscious of the fact that we are conscious at all first of all.

It enables us to fully appreciate life and the things...events, conditions and circumstances we encounter and experience in life.

But it's role is very limited in creating the REALLY BIG desires we hold.

The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious aspect of mind, which is "infinite" in nature is the subjective or right brained aspect of mind who's primary purpose is for the storage of data, the preservation and restoration of health and serves as the communication device or the "connecting link" with the Super-Conscious mind also referred to as God, Universal Intelligence, "The Infinite Field Of Potential" or as science has labeled he/she/it "The Unified Field." 

The Collective Consciousness

The Collective Consciousness is made up of the "perceived" individual consciousnesses of the planets population which serve collectively to form a "Matrix" or appearance of reality from a physical perspective.

The Collective Consciousness is also referred to as the Gaia Mind that attempts to keep you limited and in check. Those who choose to remain asleep and "unconscious" of this aspect of mind are kept in just that state. In check and limited as the vast majority is.

The Super-Conscious Mind

The Super consciousness or Super-Conscious mind is the One Mind, The All which makes up the whole of each individualized consciousness, each of which exists as an integral part of this "One True Mind" differentiated only by individual ego and free will.

The Super-Conscious mind is the omniscient, omnipresent, all knowing and ever present Source which serves as and determines how EVERY event, condition and circumstance, both the physical as well as the meta-physical into infinity unfolds.
